Beecroft Residents Association has been running for around thirty years now.  We cover a large area from Hillcroft, Albanks, Brewers Hill Road the whole of the Beecroft Estate through to Chiltern Road and West Street.  We are a small group of local Residents who are interested in working with the local authority for the good of the local area.  Over the years working with council officers and local councillors we have helped  the local shop keepers stop anti-social behaviour outside the local shops.  We supported a petition against a proposed development of 650 dwellings on farm and greenbelt land near the Miaden Bower Hillfort, the most important Scheduled Monument in Central Bedfordshire.  In the main we support local residents with small everyday problems.  Now we are helping a couple whose fence is being damaged by a compost heap, in an allotment behind their home. Basically, if we can help and support a local resident with a problem no matter how small or big, we will.  In the past we have had visits from Mr Selous our local MP.  and guest speakers from Central Beds.  There is always a chance for you to have your say or suggest how the association can continue to move forward.

‚ÄčIt's not all Doom and Gloom, we are a friendly group who like nothing more than a laugh and joke.  We would like to invite likeminded people to come along to our meetings, there are no joining fees and nothing to pay when you come to a meeting.
